About Jackie's K-9 Korral Pet Salon in Tucson, AZ
Jackie has had an affinity for animals all her life. What started as a child--caring for sick and abandoned animals--led Jackie to her true passion as an adult, and at her mother's suggestion, she went on to attend grooming school.
Jackie has spent the last 37 years caring for animals. Her last 8 years have been here at the K-9 Korral as a sole proprietor and lead groomer. She works with dogs, cats, birds, and rabbits while specializing in fearful and difficult-to-handle pets.
Jackie works very closely with several of the local rescue associations. She helps with grooming, administering medical treatments, temporary housing, and adoption.
Jackie’s pet family includes eleven dogs, one cat, one turtle, two birds, and over sixty fish. All of her animals have been adopted locally through rescues.
